O meia Douglas, que entrou no duelo no segundo tempo, lamentou o resultado e acha que o Grêmio tinha todas as condições de sair com três pontos.
“Entrei no final, tentei ajudar, se tivéssemos mais tranquilidade teríamos feito o segundo gol, mas foi um ponto importante para a gente”, disse Douglas.
“Pensávamos neste jogo, era importante para nós, para a sequência da competição. Fizemos até um bom jogo, poderia ter vindo a vitória, não veio. Com mais tranquilidade, teríamos vencido”, completou.

Australia have topped Group A at the Under-19 World Cup emphatically. They beat England by six wickets and 15 overs to spare, Nepal by 212 runs, and Ireland by six wickets and 57 balls left. Yet, their coach Stuart Law recognises there are disciplines his team needs to improve on during Sunday’s quarterfinal against Bangladesh, and says having won so comprehensively despite not being at their best highlighted the depth of talent within the squad.”We have got through, won three out of three, but I still feel there are some areas for improvement, which is pretty good if you’re winning games and still not playing your best cricket,” Law said. “It doesn’t make you very complacent.”Australia’s bowlers have conceded 25 wides in three games, only one batsman has scored a hundred and some have been getting out in the same fashion, and they haven’t run out a batsman yet. These were the areas Law felt needed attention.”There have been some great areas for us, but there are just those little one per-centers,” Law said. “We bowled a lot of wides with the new ball. Batsmen have got to learn that once you get out a certain way, you shouldn’t be getting out like that time and time again. We haven’t got many run outs in this competition, we’re a better fielding side than what we’re showing. They may not mean much in the whole scheme of things but in big games coming up, if we can get one run out, take a great catch, don’t bowl five wides, it makes it easier to win the game.”While Australia’s captain William Bosisto said he was “rapt” to have won all three games so far, he too wasn’t thrilled with the performance in the last group game against Ireland. “I suppose, with attacking cricket, you can sometimes come unstuck, it’s not going to come off all the time,” Bosisto said. “It’s a learning experience, but I think if we try and be as positive as we can and learn from our mistakes that’s the only way to improve.”What Australia have done during the group stages is manage to give all 15 players in their squad a game, which means no one will have to take the field during the knock-out without match practice. Even the two replacement players they called into the squad because of injuries, seam bowler Alex Gregory and legspinner Shane Cassel, have had success. “Coming into the group stage, we wanted to win all three games but we also wanted to get as many players into form as possible and I think we’ve achieved that so far,” Bosisto said.Australia have two significant advantages going into the quarterfinal against Bangladesh in Townsville. They’ve played at Endeavour Park, in this tournament and during a quadrangular series earlier this year, and know what to expect from the conditions. Bangladesh have been based in Brisbane and will have to adjust to their new environment on the go. Australia have not played this Under-19 Bangladesh side before, but they have Law, who was Bangladesh coach until recently and knows some of their key players. Bangladesh don’t have similar insights.”I’ve spoken to the players a little bit about it [the Bangladesh team],” Law said. “You don’t try and give them too much, if you give them too much information you can lead to paralysing them mentally and you don’t want to do that. You just want them to go out and play good, carefree cricket with discipline.”What Law wants, however, is for the batsmen who get set to play substantial innings when they get the opportunity to. Cameron Bancroft showed that appetite against Nepal, when he scored 125, but some others have failed to score a century or see the chase home because of an error of judgment rather than being dismissed by a good ball.”It’s good to have a sounding board like Greg Chappell in the dressing room. We look at each other and say, ‘These guys don’t like scoring hundreds.’ We tell these players that 20s aren’t going to be enough to put your name up in lights. If you’re 50 not out at the end of an innings, great … but if you get the opportunity, you’ve got to go big. If you’re getting 40 and 50 all the time, it’s okay, but it’s not going to get you far.”Having said that, Law was pleased with the balance in Australia’s line-up. Bancroft and Bosisto are the steady batsmen who have shown the temperament to battle through tough periods, while Jimmy Peirson, Kurtis Patterson and Travis Head have been more aggressive during the group games. “We’ve looked at different combinations, we’ve looked at who’s got the power game, who can constantly hit gaps,” Law said. “It is a good balance, it’s something Greg and I, we’re pretty conscious of keeping that balance going through the next three games. Don’t have too many changes now, everyone knows their role.”Australia will be expected to get past Bangladesh, and they’ll want to do so in a manner that shows improvement from their already impressive performances during this tournament.

وقال جالتييه في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “rmcsport” الفرنسية: “إنها الهزيمة الثانية على التوالي والثامنة لنا في عام 2023، هذا يُعد كثيرًا في نادِ مثل باريس سان جيرمان”.

وأردف: “لتحقيق لقب الدوري، سنحتاج إلى حالة مختلفة من الشخصية على أرض الملعب والحالة الذهنية، خاصة عندما لا تسير الأمور لصالحنا”.
وعندما سُئل عما إذا كان يشعر بالقلق تجاه إمكانية حسم لقب الدوري، أجاب: “من الضروري الفوز به، ولكن مرة أخرى، لتحقيق ذلك، يتعين علينا إظهار جانب آخر من التصميم والالتزام”.
O imbróglio jurídico entre Atlético-MG e Cruzeiro ganhou um novo capítulo na novela da saída do atacante Fred do Galo para a Raposa, referente ao pagamento da multa rescisória do jogador.
A Câmara Nacional de Resolução de Disputas (CNRD) marcou para dezembro o julgamento que decidirá se a multa de 10 milhões de reais deve paga pelo jogador ao Atlético-MG por ter assinado contrato com o Cruzeiro no fim de 2017.
Ainda não há uma data exata para o julgamento que definirá de vez a briga fora de campo entre os maiores clubes de Minas.
A confusão
Quando resolveu deixar o Atlético-MG e acertar com o Cruzeiro, o time alvinegro havia imposto uma rescisão do contrato de 10 milhões de reais caso o jogador fosse para o Cruzeiro.
Fred, à época, aceitou a condição juntamente com os seus representantes. Ao assinar com a Raposa, o atacante avisou o clube celeste sobre a existência da multa, por meio de um documento, e deixou claro que só aceitaria assinar contrato caso o Cruzeiro assumisse a dívida. Ciente do fato, a diretoria cruzeirense fechou o negocio e se responsabilizou pelo pagamento do valor.
O valor da multa deveria ter sido paga no dia seguinte a confirmação do contratado de Fred no BID da CBF, no dia 16 de janeiro. O Cruzeiro não fez o depósito e protelou o pagamento até que o jurídico do clube analisar se o débito era procedente ou não.
O Atlético-MG resolveu ingressar com uma ação na Câmara Nacional de Resolução de Disputas, da CBF, cobrando de Fred o pagamento da multa de R$ 10 milhões.
A solução final do caso será em dezembro e pode haver sanções para o jogador e para os clubes. No campo desportivo, Fred pode ser advertido, multado, ter bloqueado suas premiações, ter de devolver a premiação ou título conquistado em competição organizada pela CBF e até ser proibido de atuar em qualquer atividade relacionada ao futebol, além proibição temporária de registro de atletas. Cruzeiro e Atlético-MG não se pronunciaram sobre os novos fatos e o julgamento.

A hard-hitting century by opener Sam Wood helped England edge out West Indies by 13 runs at Endeavour Park, Townsville and finish fifth in the tournament. Wood’s 104, laced with seven sixes and four boundaries, was the only notable innings for England after they were put into bat. West Indies bowlers took early wickets, but Wood continued to attack, especially during an 86-run fourth-wicket stand with Craig Overton. Fast bowler Justin Greaves then had Overton out for 18 and Wood was run out in the next over. Greaves took two more and even 200 looked improbable for England. However, an unbeaten 49-run last-wicket partnership between Tom Knight and Reece Topley pushed England to 241.West Indies lost opener Sunil Ambris in the first over of the chase, but John Campbell responded with a hundred and kept them abreast with the rate as regular wickets went down. Bahawalpur is the new team in the T20 competition.The Faysal Bank T-20 Cup will begin on December 1 and its final will be on December 9, and it will be held entirely in Lahore. The 14 teams were divided into two groups of seven each and the tournament will comprise 45 matches. The top two teams from each group will contest the semi-finals.Defending champions Sialkot Stallions were pooled in Group A with Lahore Lions, Islamabad Leopards, Karachi Zebras, Abbottabad Falcons, Quetta Bears and Multan Tigers. Group B comprises Karachi Dolphins, Rawalpindi Rams, Faisalabad Wolves, Bahawalpur Stags, Peshawar Panthers, Lahore Eagles and Hyderabad Hawks. Apart from Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore City Cricket Association Ground and the historical Bagh-e-Jinnah Ground will stage the games.The tournament was originally scheduled to be played in Karachi from December 2 to 10. “Karachi was our a definite choice but we have been monitoring the circumstances in Karachi, so in the larger interest of the cricket we have decided to hold the event in Lahore.” Zakir Khan, PCB’s director of domestic cricket operations, said.Last year, Rawalpindi was first given hosting rights but after the local authorities could not complete renovation on the dilapidated stadium in time, the event was shifted to Lahore.
