Depois de vencer o Vitória, no Morumbi, e garantir a permanência no G4 do Campeonato Brasileiro durante a realização da Copa do Mundo, o São Paulo alcançou a história marca de 1.000 pontos ganhos na era dos pontos corridos, iniciada em 2003 no futebol nacional. É o primeiro clube do país com uma pontuação de quatro dígitos.

Para chegar no expressivo número, o Tricolor entrou em campo em 602 oportunidades. Ao todo, foram 282 vitórias, 154 empates e 166 derrotas, o que lhe garante 55,3% de aproveitamento dos pontos disputados na Série A do Brasileirão durante as últimas 16 temporadas.

No período, a equipe do Morumbi levou para casa três edições do Brasileirão (2006, 2007 e 2008) e em outras seis oportunidades (2003, 2004, 2009, 2012, 2014 e 2015) terminou o campeonato no G4, o que lhe garantiu uma vaga na Copa Libertadores do ano seguinte.

Na cola do Tricolor aparece o Cruzeiro, outro tricampeão (2003, 2013 e 2014 dos pontos corridos), com 958 pontos ganhos. Na sequência, o Santos – campeão em 2004 – tem 929. O Corinthians é o quarto colocado, com 900. Embora o Timão seja o maior campeão dos pontos corridos com quatro títulos (2005, 2011, 2015 e 2017), a equipe foi rebaixada em 2007 e não disputou o Brasileirão do ano seguinte na elite.

Zimbabwe and Pakistan have not played a Test match against each other in nine years, a time span in which both teams have changed considerably. They were expecting a few surprises. But the biggest mystery of the day wasn’t provided by either side, it came from the Bulawayo pitch.With a fair covering of green on it, Misbah-ul-Haq was probably justified in putting Zimbabwe in to bat, a decision that became questionable midway through the first session. “I was surprised that it [the pitch] didn’t do much,” Vusi Sibanda said after the day’s play. “It seamed a little bit to start off with, but after about five overs it flattened out.”The batsman escaped the proverbial Green Mamba and it was the bowlers who had to avoid being bitten by it. Pakistan’s opening pair of Sohail Khan and Aizaz Cheema failed to impress, with neither able to trouble the batsmen. “They tried to do quite a bit, which made it easier to score,” Sibanda said. “Cheema bowled quite well with the new ball and got it to swing a lot more, but Sohail was just bashing out that length, hitting the bat really hard and was a lot straighter.”Even though they did not create a breakthrough, Pakistan’s opening batsman and offspinner, Mohammad Hafeez said that it was a fine challenge for an inexperienced attack. “This is a learning process for our bowling attack,” he said, “because they are not mature enough at this level yet.”Hafeez acknowledged that the “day belonged to the Zimbabweans”, and even hinted that Pakistan may have taken their opposition, and their prowess as a Test nation, a little lightly. “Their application in Test cricket was impressive, especially as they were out of it for the last three or four years,” he said. “The way they came back against Bangladesh boosted their confidence.”Tino Mawoyo, whose unbeaten 82 anchored the Zimbabwe innings, was the batsmen that took the day away from Pakistan. “He showed good technique, he really showed what was required of Test cricket,” Hafeez said. “He was passionate and determined.”Mawoyo batted through the day, and took 161 balls to get to his fifty, after a characteristically slow start. Sibanda, his opening partner, said that approach is the one Mawoyo flourishes with. “That’s his game, he likes to take his time,” he said. “Once he gets going he will carry on and he will be looking to get a big one. He will probably struggle to sleep tonight though.”Mawoyo’s toughest task was dealing with offspinner Saeed Ajmal, whose doosra he was unable to pick. Sibanda was also victim to Ajmal’s wrong ‘un and felt that he let himself down by not capitalising on a good start. “I’ve just got to be a bit hungrier, because I think I gave my wicket away today,” he said.” I have to try and convert those 30s and 40s into bigger scores.”Still, Ajmal, he said, was one of the more difficult bowlers he has had to face. “There’s not much difference between his doosra and the normal offbreak, so you have to pick it through the air,” he said. Although Mawoyo struggled against Ajmal, he put up an exceptional fight, something that Sibanda thinks is starting to define the new era of Zimbabwean cricket.He said the team were looking forward to facing Sohail Tanvir, despite signs that the pitch will reverse swing, and were disappointed that he was left out of the starting XI. “I was looking forward to facing him [Tanvir] in the Test,” Sibanda said. “It would have been a challenge considering that the last time I played against him was a bit of a challenge. We were hoping he was going to play.”Without the threat of Tanvir, Zimbabwe’s middle order will probably feel more at ease trying to put on a significant first innings score, which will serve them well as the match wears on, because of the nature of the pitch. “It’s an unusual wicket, because it is also breaking up. It might have been a good toss to lose actually,” Sibanda said. “Anything around 370 plus would be decent and psychologically it will play on their [Pakistan’s] minds as well.”

David Warner is confident he is much better prepared for one-day international cricket than he was when he last played for Australia more than two years ago. Warner has been picked in the ODI squad to take on South Africa in October and he could be auditioning for a long-term role in the side as they embark on the lengthy path to the 2015 World Cup, while he also hopes it could be a stepping stone towards Test cricket.He last played ODI cricket in a one-off match against Scotland in August 2009, after making six other appearances earlier that year during the home summer. Warner didn’t grasp his one-day opportunities, and by his own admission struggled to adjust from Twenty20 to the 50-over format, but he has now developed so much that he was a standby player in the Test squad during the recent series in Sri Lanka.”I’m definitely more mature this time around,” Warner said after learning of his call-up while in India playing for New South Wales in the Champions League. “I know what I’ve got to do and I know what to expect. I know the opposition that we’re coming up against and I know exactly what I could be up against with Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn. I’ve just got to go out there and play the way I play and hopefully I can score some runs.”Back then [in 2009] … I thought I had to go out there and play the way I did in the Twenty20, like I did in my debut. It all just went so quickly. Now I’ve realised what one-day cricket is all about: setting the tone from the start and trying to make your way to the latter part of the overs. I’ve learnt a lot in the last couple of years, speaking to the likes of Michael Clarke and Shane Watson about one-day cricket has helped me a lot.”Warner’s recent form was described by the outgoing chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch as “irresistible” and it’s hard to disagree. After finishing the Sheffield Shield season with a century in Perth, he headed to Zimbabwe with Australia A and made 152 in a practice match, 120 in a one-day game and 211 in a first-class match.”It was a thrill for me to get picked for Australia A in the four-day stuff as well, and to put runs on the board there was a fantastic opportunity for me to show the selectors what I can do and show everyone else that I’m not just a T20 specialist. I’m thoroughly going to take this opportunity into the one-dayers and the Twenty20s and score more runs, and hopefully get a Test spot in the near future.”The Australians head to South Africa in early October, ahead of two Twenty20s and three one-day internationals. The squad for the two Tests that follow in November will be announced in the coming weeks.

وعن دور لاعبنا الدولي المصري السابق محمد زيدان في تعاقد ميتلاند مع إمام عاشور: “زيدان لاعب هام في تاريخ النادي وهو مصري وبالتأكيد يعرف اللاعبين المصريين وجزء من ميتلاند، وساعدنا في ذلك”.

وسيخوض فريق ميتلاند مباراتي الذهاب والإياب، ضد سبورتنج لشبونة البرتغالي، في دور الـ32 من بطولة الدوري الأوروبي، يومي 16 فبراير و23 فبراير الجاري، لكن سيواجه قبل ذلك الموعد، فريق أولسان هيونداي الكوري الجنوبي يوم 6 فبراير، ويوم 10 فبراير سيواجه إف إلفسبورج السويدي، ببطولة كأس الأطلسي.

يحتل ميتلاند المركز السابع في الدوري الدنماركي برصيد 23 نقطة بعد مرور 17 جولة، بفارق 12 نقطة عن المتصدر نوردشيللان صاحب الـ35 نقطة، وبفارق 9 نقاط عن الوصيف فيبورج، و4 نقاط عن كوبنهاجن الثالث، ونقطة وحيدة عن كل من سيلكيبورج وأودنسه وراندرس.

وتعادل ميتلاند في مباراته الأخيرة بالدوري أمام راندرز سلبيًا، وستكون مواجهته المقبلة بتلك البطولة في 20 فبراير المقبل أمام فيبورج.

وودع ميتلاند بطولة كأس الدنمارك من الدور الرابع بعد الخسارة أمام فيبورج بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف، وما زال منافسًا في بطولتي الدوري الأوروبي وكأس الأطلسي.

O Vasco confirmou nesta segunda-feira a sua viagem durante a paralisação do Campeonato Brasileiro por conta da Copa do Mundo da Rússia. A equipe comandada pelo técnico Jorginho ficará em Pinheiral, cidade no sul do Rio de Janeiro, durante uma semana, focando na preparação para as disputas do segundo semestre, principalmente com treinos integrais. A delegação ficará no CT Havelange entre o próximo domingo e 7 de julho.

– Essa semana treinamos no CT das Vargens e no domingo seguimos para Pinheiral, onde ficamos por uma semana – resumiu Alexandre Faria, novo diretor executivo de futebol do Vasco, ao confirmar o período de treinos fora do Rio de Janeiro durante coletiva na manhã desta segunda no Complexo Esportivo de São Januário.

Apesar da ida ser no domingo, o primeiro treino do Vasco em Pinheiral será na segunda-feira. A cidade foi escolhida por já ter recebido o Cruz-Maltino em outras oportunidades. A última foi no ano passado, durante o período que São Januário estava interditado e a equipe precisou mandar algumas partidas no Raulino de Oliveira, em Volta Redonda, também no sul fluminense.

Anteriormente, o Vasco havia programado um período de treinos para Domingos Martins, no Espírito Santo, com um amistoso incluído. O clube chegou a confirmar a ida para a cidade capixaba, mas voltou atrás após a mudança da comissão técnica e diretoria executiva – a definição anterior tinha sido feita pelo técnico Zé Ricardo, pelo então diretor executivo de futebol Paulo Pelaipe e o então gerente da pasta, Newton Drummond.

Vale lembrar que o CT João Havelange possui uma estrutura bastante utilizada por envolvidos de futebol. As dependências do centro de treinamento no interior do Rio de Janeiro possuem alojamentos, dois campos oficiais, caixa de areia, campo reduzido, sala de musculação e área de lazer. Já recebeu a Seleção Brasileira feminina, o Botafogo, o Flamengo, além de outras seleções e times estrangeiros.

– Mercado acaba sendo cruel com clubes brasileiros nestas janelas. Sempre monitoramos o mercado pela possibilidade de perder algum jogador. Não dá para inchar o elenco no começo do ano pensando em saídas no meio do ano, sem nem saber quem pode sair. Com o Miguel fora temos o Deyverson, buscamos alternativas dentro do nosso grupo, mas se tiver necessidade não tenho dúvida que, mesmo sabendo que no Brasil quem joga sete jogos não pode atuar, mesmo entendendo que no mercado sul-americano quem já jogou a Libertadores também não possa atuar, temos de procurar as melhores opções. O atleta estava no Fluminense, onde atuou 30 vezes, marcando quatro gols.A última partida de Robinho foi no dia 7 de junho, na derrota do Tricolor Carioca para o Flamengo, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro.

Robinho se destacou no futebol nacional em 2017, quando vestiu a camisa do Figueirense. O Fluminense contratou o jogador no meio da temporada passada. O atacantefoi revelado pelo Atibaia-SP, em 2016, e também tem passagem pelo Confiança-SE.

O recém-contratado é aguardado em Belo Horizontenos próximos dias para a realização de exames médicos. Dificilmente Robinho estará à disposição do técnico Adílson Baptista para o duelo desta quinta-feira, contra o Internacional, no Independência.
