واصل فريق برشلونة مسيرة انتصاراته في منافسات الدوري الإسباني بفوز بأربعة أهداف دون مقابل أمام قادش، قبل مواجهة بايرن ميونخ المرتقبة في دوري أبطال أوروبا. 

وحل برشلونة ضيفًا على قادش ضمن مباريات الجولة الخامسة للدوري الإسباني “الليجا”، مساء اليوم السبت.

شوط المباراة الأول انتهى بتعادل سلبي بين الفريقين، وفي الشوط الثاني تمكن فرينكي دي يونج من افتتاح التسجيل لبرشلونة.

وجاء هدف دي يونج في الدقيقة 55 من عمر اللقاء ليتقدم الفريق الكتالوني بهدف دون رد.

وبعد دقيقتين أجرى تشافي هيرنانديز 3 تبديلات لبرشلونة بخروج فيران توريس وجافي وديباي ودفع بديمبلي وبيدري وليفاندوفسكي.

وفي الدقيقة 65 أضاف البولندي ليفاندوفسكي هدف برشلونة الثاني في شباك قادش.

ثم قرر تشافي استبدال الثنائي رافينها وبالدي ودفع بأنسو فاتي وماركوس ألونسو في الدقيقتين 72 و78.

توقفت المباراة بسبب حالة صحية بين الجماهير في المدرجات وظهر القلق والترقب على لاعبي الفريقين، واتضح إصابة مشجع بأزمة قلبية، وتم إخراجه من الملعب بعد تدخل الطاقم الطبي، ثم ظهرت إصابة ثانية وبحسب التقارير هي لمصور لكنه بحالة جيدة.

وبعد ما يقارب الـ 45 دقيقة من التوقف، تم استئناف المباراة بداية من الدقيقة 81.

فور استئناف المباراة نجح أنسو فاتي في إحراز الهدف الثالث لبرشلونة، مستفيدًا من تمريرة ليفاندوفسكي في الدقيقة 86.  

وبحلول الدقيقة الثانية من الوقت المحتسب بدلاً من الضائع أحرز ديمبلي هدف برشلونة الرابع بتمريرة من ليفاندوفسكي. 

حسمت المباراة بفوز برشلونة بأربعة أهداف دون رد، ليرفع رصيده إلى 13 نقطة في صدارة الليجا مؤقتًا لحين نهاية مباريات الجولة، وبقى قادش في قاع الترتيب بلا نقاط.

The latest in a long list of injuries has reportedly prompted New Zealand allrounder Jacob Oram to consider his international future. Celtic forward Giorgos Giakoumakis could be out for three more weeks, Ange Postecoglou has revealed.

The Lowdown: Giakoumakis’ struggles

The 26-year-old has struggled during his first season as a Celtic player.

Postecoglou was talking to the media, as relayed by The Go Radio Football Show, following Celtic’s 1-0 victory over Hearts on Thursday night.

He stated that defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will be available against Dundee United this weekend before revealing that Giakoumakis, labelled as ‘special’ by Dutch reporter Rik Elfrink after a four-goal performance in one match last season, is another two or three weeks away from returning.

Should he miss three more weeks of action, that would keep the striker out until Christmas, and he would therefore miss Celtic’s next six games in all competitions.

The Verdict: Ange needs a break

The latest news regarding Giakoumakis has theoretically kicked Postecoglou while he was down following injuries to Anthony Ralston, Jota and Stephen Welsh against Hearts.

Celtic have a busy schedule in December and the 56-year-old has had little luck when it comes to injuries ever since making the move to Scotland.

He could have done with having a fully fit squad before the winter break, but it seems as if he will need to keep relying heavily on top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi in a central role following the news on Giakoumakis.

BBC radio pundit Noel Whelan has given his reaction to the latest reports on Newcastle United’s ongoing search for a new Director of Football (DoF).

The Lowdown: Emenalo rejects Newcastle

As per The Telegraph, Michael Emenalo – who was reportedly the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) consortium’s ‘top choice’ for the DoF role – turned down the position offered to him after he remained unconvinced that the St James’ Park club matched his ambitious plans for them.

It means that the search for a DoF continues on Tyneside as the January transfer window draws ever closer.

The Latest: Whelan reacts

Speaking to Football Insider, former Leeds United striker Whelan has since given his reaction to the news, claiming that it is a ‘massive blow’ for Newcastle that they have seemingly lost out on hiring Emenalo. He said:

“It’ll be really disappointing for Newcastle – no one likes rejection.

“They’ll have thought that they had put something on the table which could entice and tempt him to join.

“They will have wanted to fill that role as quickly as possible. Even more so when they have a massive window coming up.

“They have the manager through the door, now they need that second person in so they can put their heads together ahead of January.

“It is huge, a massive blow. That jigsaw piece still needs to be fit in. It needs to be done quickly so they can get to work.”

The Verdict: A blow indeed

Given that he was reportedly their top choice, it is indeed a blow that Newcastle have seemingly missed out on hiring Emenalo.

African football specialist Tunde Adelakun has previously hailed the Nigerian’s ‘wealth of knowledge, exposure and experience’ as he helped to grow the game in Africa, also citting Emenalo’s role in the two Premier League titles and Champions League triumph that Chelsea enjoyed when he was part of the backroom team in west London.

Emenalo is also said to be a fan of Eddie Howe, so the two could have worked well together in finding the right players to bring into Newcastle in January.

Nonetheless, it looks as if the Magpies will now have to look at other candidates for the role, and ideally they need to bring someone in before the transfer window opens in what is a crucial period in their season as they look to avoid relegation.

90min suggest that Atletico would demand a fee in excess of £39m from Newcastle for Trippier. Should Palace be the ones to make their move, you’d expect there would be no change to that fee, meaning Dougie Freedman would need to smash Palace’s club-record in order to bring Trippier to Selhurst Park.

Patrick Vieira currently has three right-backs to choose from, with Joel Ward a regular and winning the club’s Player of the Month award for October.
