وكان منتخب مصر قد ضمن تأهله إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026، عقب الفوز في الجولة التاسعة على منتخب جيبوتي بثلاثية نظيفة.
وحقق منتخب مصر أمس الأحد الفوز على منتخب غينيا بيساو، بهدف دون رد، في المباراة التي جمعت بينهما في الجولة العاشرة والأخيرة من تصفيات كأس العالم.
وقال مصطفى شوبير في تصريحات على قناة أون سبورت 1:”المشاركة في المونديال ستكون فارقة معي ومع والدي لأن هذا هو حلمه أن يراني في كأس العالم، وإن شاء الله نتواجد في كل نسخ كأس العالم التالية”.
وأضاف: “كثير من الناس تعتقد إن المباريات سهلة، لا، الفرق جميعها صعبة ولاعبيهم محترفين، لكننا نمتلك لاعبين كبار وربنا كرمنا بالتأهل”.
وتابع: ” ضد مبدأ الهجوم على أي شخص في الإعلام، أحترم الصحفيين، كل ما حدث عقب المباراة الماضية من المشجع إنه (قالي مبروك قلتله الله يبارك فيك، وقلتله أكتب على الفيديو إللي انا قلته فقط عشان انتوا مبوظين البلد، ودي كلمة مكنش ينفع أقولها)”.
وأردف: أتمنى أن يكون هناك رقابة على بعض الأمور والشائعات، أنا بحترم كل الإعلاميين والصحفيين ، أنا لا استطيع أن أسيء للاعلاميين وشوبير والدي إعلامي، ولا أتابع إلا قليل من البرامج”.

وواصل: المنافسة مع الشناوي في الملعب فقط، وأي مدير فني يكون له وجهة نظر، يوجد حراس جيدين حتى في القطاع، لكن الناس تريد أن تفترض شائعات غير صحيحة”
وأكمل: “محمد صلاح خلق لدينا دوافع كبيرة إن كل لاعب يكون أحسن ويتدرب أكثر، والجيل الحالي يستحق أن يتوج بأمم إفريقيا، وإن شاء الله سنحققه في الفترة القادمة”.
واختتم شوبير تصريحاته قائلا: البعض أراد أن يختلق أزمة عقب مصافحة حسام عبد المجيد عقب مباراة القمة، ولكن الطبيعي أن لاعبي القطبين أصدقاء والخطيب وحسن شحاتة كانوا يذهبون لتحية الجمهور سويا في الماضي”.

The ECB board has confirmed that England’s men will fulfil their fixture against Afghanistan at the Champions Trophy this month, despite describing the “appalling oppression” of women in the country as “gender apartheid”.Richard Thompson, the ECB’s chairman, said in a statement following a board meeting on Thursday that a “coordinated international response” would achieve more than unilateral action. The board has come under political pressure to boycott the fixture, with more than 160 British politicians calling for England to pull out of the match in Lahore on February 26.”What is happening in Afghanistan is nothing short of gender apartheid,” Thompson said. “At a cricketing level, when women’s and girls’ cricket is growing rapidly around the world it is heartbreaking that those growing up in Afghanistan are denied this opportunity, but the appalling oppression of women and girls by the Taliban goes so much further.”The Board recognises there are different views and opinions on the issue of boycotting the match and has listened carefully. Chelsea maintained their unbeaten start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, with a 2-0 win over local rivals Fulham at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Enzo Maresca’s side now sit on seven points in England’s top-flight, adding to their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace and 5-1 rout against West Ham United last weekend.
It was a superb display from the Blues on home soil, taking control of the game and limiting Marco Silva’s side to just three shots on target in the 90-minute contest.

The game wasn’t all positive for the Italian, with striker Liam Delap limping off with a hamstring injury within the opening quarter of an hour – which is set to rule the Englishman out for eight weeks.
Such a display allowed numerous players to thrive once again, standing their claim for a regular starting role in the club’s hunt for Premier League success come the end of May.
How Chelsea’s win over Fulham played out
Chelsea were fortunate not to find themselves one goal down early in the clash at the Bridge, with Josh King putting the visitors ahead – but the goal was ruled out after Rodrigo Muniz was adjudged to have committed a foul in the build-up.
However, the Blues took the lead just minutes before the break, after Enzo Fernández’s corner was nodded into the far corner by summer addition Joao Pedro.
Maresca’s side held a one-goal lead going into the break, which quickly became two in the second half after yet another VAR intervention from Michael Salisbury.
A cross from Trevoh Chalobah was blocked by the arm of Ryan Sessegnon, resulting in a penalty being awarded after referee Rob Jones was sent to the monitor.
Captain Enzo tucked home the subsequent spot kick, completing the scoring and securing a second league win in the three outings so far in 2025/26.
Alongside Enzo and Pedro, one other Blues player hugely impressed during the triumph, now being more than deserving of a consistent run within the starting eleven.

Given the huge volume of signings at Chelsea over the past couple of years, it’s been tricky for Maresca to find a settled starting eleven that could lead his side to success.
Hundreds of millions of pounds have already been spent over recent campaigns, including over £200m this window – with today’s goalscorer Pedro just one of the additions made by the hierarchy.
However, the Blues have also been the home to one of the best academies in the country over recent years, often developing talents who can make an impact in the first-team.
Centre-back Chalobah is just one player who has developed through such a system, now being a key member of Maresca’s side – despite looking certain to depart 12 months ago.
He started the game against the Cottagers this afternoon, having a game to remember and helping the side keep a clean sheet on their way to victory.
The centre-back made three tackles and won 11 duels – with both tallies the highest of any player on the pitch – offering a dominant presence out of possession.
However, in possession, the 26-year-old also starred, recording 80 touches and completing 90% of the passes he attempted – with five of his efforts going into the final third.

Such a showing has certainly cemented his place within Maresca’s starting eleven, subsequently being able to form a superb partnership at the heart of the backline with Tosin.
The fact that he’s been able to keep out new signing Jorel Hato shows the quality the academy graduate possesses – with Maresca needing to stand by him in the months ahead.

For better or worse, Ruben Amorim remains wedded to his 3-4-2-1 system at Manchester United, despite having seen his side plunge to new depths last season amid their dismal 15th-place Premier League finish.
The Portuguese coach won two league titles while using this approach at Sporting CP, although his failure – or rather refusal – to adapt looks like it could be his undoing at Old Trafford, with the wisdom of such a set-up yet to be realised.
On current evidence, it also looks like it could be the undoing of young Kobbie Mainoo, with Amorim almost a year into his tenure and still no closer to finding a settled role for the 20-year-old sensation in his side.
With the manager’s own future perhaps still up for debate, the club wisely opted against loaning or selling Mainoo this summer, even amid his limited role, with the midfielder a player whom United simply can’t offload any time soon.
Once a central part of Erik ten Hag’s team, as well as in England’s Euro 2024 run, the academy graduate is arguably seeing his talents wasted at present. Can Amorim get him firing again?

Mainoo must surely take his own accountability for his dip of late, while having also been struck down by injury in 2024/25, although right from the off, he doesn’t appear to have earned Amorim’s trust.
Indeed, the 40-year-old opted to unleash an ageing midfield pairing of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen for his first game away at Ipswich Town, with Mainoo instead watching on from the bench at Portman Road.
That set the tone for what has followed, with the Stockport native going on to make 30 appearances in all competitions under the new regime, with only 14 of those having come from the start.
Of those 30 outings, Mainoo has also been subbed off on nine occasions, while he has contributed just two goals and two assists thus far – half of which came during the Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen back in January.
That performance appeared to showcase what the youngster could do in a number ten role, yet he now appears resigned to fighting it out with ever-present skipper, Bruno Fernandes, in a deep-lying midfield berth.
No longer the golden boy, Mainoo appears a far cry from the player who dazzled under Ten Hag’s watch, having scored five goals and provided one assist in 44 games during the Dutchman’s time at the helm.
38 of those displays notably came from the start, with Ten Hag reaping the rewards of his faith in the then-teenage talent – the FA Cup final winner a case in point.
Mainoo isn’t alone in having suffered under the new regime, with Amorim also failing to get a tune out of a certain Rasmus Hojlund.
How Hojlund's value has fallen since Amorim's arrival
A frantic end to the window saw United finally move on their ‘unwanted’ stars, with Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho all departing from the so-called ‘bomb squad’.
That string of departures also included Hojlund’s own loan switch to Serie A champions Napoli, with that deal expected to become a £38m permanent move if certain conditions are met this season.
In an era of Alexander Isak’s and Yoane Wissa’s, Hojlund – to his credit – appeared desperate to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, even amid the signing of Benjamin Sesko, having reportedly been hesitant to commit to his Naples move initially.
Unfortunately for the boyhood United fan, Amorim and co had seemingly seen enough last season, with the young Dane ending 2024/25 with just ten goals to his name in all competitions – only four of which came in the Premier League.
While only Fernandes and Noussair Mazraoui have made more appearances for United since Amorim took charge back in November, with Hojlund lining up 40 times, the partnership simply hasn’t proved to be a fruitful one.
Who is to blame for those woes is up for debate, with the 22-year-old certainly showing promise under Ten Hag the year prior, having ended the season as United’s top scorer in all competitions with 18 goals. That said, he also ended the season on the bench, as the Dutchman favoured a makeshift duo of Scott McTominay and Fernandes in his place.
The hope was that having seen Viktor Gyokeres score 66 goals in just 68 games under his watch in Lisbon, Amorim’s appointment could take Hojlund to even greater heights.

As it has transpired, the ex-Atalanta sensation was largely a bystander to proceedings in attack last term, with chances at a premium. As per Sofascore, he actually only missed six ‘big chances’ in the Premier League in 2024/25.
From 18 goals in 51 games under Ten Hag, to just eight in 40 under Amorim, Hojlund proved unable to generate chances himself, nor convince his teammates to create opportunities for him. A worrying cocktail.
While he at times looked like a “Ruud Van Nistelrooy-type” striker in his debut campaign, as per Cesc Fabregas, Amorim rarely saw the best of United’s £64m signing – nor, it must be said, did he get the best out of him.
That is reflected none more so than in his declining market value. As per Transfermarkt, Hojlund was worth a peak value of €60m (£52m) back in December 2024, just a month into the Portuguese’s tenure.
Fast forward to the present day, and his worth has sunk to just €35m (£31m), marking a rapid drop off since the change in the dugout at Old Trafford.
Whether the manager, the system or Hojlund himself is to blame, a record of 26 goals in 96 games simply isn’t good enough. Let’s hope Benjamin Sesko proves to be a far more prolific leading man.

وتابع: “أتوجه بالشكر إلى الكابتن أشرف حلمي لأنه نقل ما حدث كما وصل إليه، وأود التوضيح أنني تحدثت معه بالأمس وأخبرته أنني تعرضت لتمزق عضلي، كما أُصيب اللاعب البيلي في رقبته”.
وأكمل: “طلب مني الكباتن المسؤولون عن المشاركة في المباريات أن أحاول اللعب ولو لمباراة واحدة فقط، خاصة وأن المنتخب لا يضم طبيبًا أو مدربًا للياقة البدنية”.
واستطرد: “كان اليوم هو الأخير في البطولة، وكنا نستعد لمواجهة نيجيريا، شاركت في التدريب إلى جانب محمود أشرف، وكان المران طبيعيًا جدًا، قبل المباراة وقفنا جميعًا لقراءة الفاتحة، وطلبنا من محمود أن ينضم إلينا، لكنه ظل جالسًا على مقاعد البدلاء واضعًا قدمًا فوق قدم، ورفض المشاركة في قراءة الفاتحة”.
وأضاف: “التفسير الوحيد لذلك ربما أنه كان يرغب في المشاركة بالمباراة، بينما الجهاز الفني لم يقرر إشراكه، فلا يوجد مبرر آخر، خاصة أن علاقتي به طيبة، وكذلك علاقته بجميع اللاعبين”.
وأشار: “خلال المباراة ظل جالسًا بالطريقة نفسها، يضع قدمًا فوق قدم وينظر إلى هاتفه، في مشهد لم أره من قبل في تاريخ اللعبة، ورئيس البعثة وقتها طلب منا ألا نتحدث معه”.
وتابع: “عندما جاءت المباراة التي كنت سأشارك فيها، وكالعادة حاولت أن أُصافحه قبل النزول إلى الملعب، لكنه قام وغادر مكانه، فشعرت بالدهشة ولم أبدِ أي رد فعل، ثم عاد إلى مقعده وكرر التصرف نفسه، فقلت إن هذا الموقف لا يليق ولا ينبغي أن يحدث من لاعب في منتخب مصر”.
وزاد: “بعد ذلك قام محمود وحاول الاعتداء عليّ، وهو ما أدى إلى ظهور رد فعلي بهذا الشكل، ولم أكن أرغب أن تصل الأمور إلى هذا الحد، لكن كان من المهم توضيح الحقيقة كما حدثت”.
وواصل: “سأخضع للتحقيق، لكنني أعتقد أن الأمر ليس شخصيًا بيني وبين محمود، لأن العلاقة بيننا جيدة، إلا أن الموقف صعب لأن محمود هو نجل رئيس الاتحاد، وبالتالي سيكون في الوقت نفسه الخصم والحكم”.
وأضاف: “هناك أمور تحدث في مصر لا أراها في أي مكان في العالم، الرئيس السابق للاتحاد كان شقيقه متواجدًا، والرئيس الحالي نجله معنا في المنتخب، ولا يوجد في أي دولة أن يكون رئيس الاتحاد هو من يختار اللاعبين، فهذا من اختصاص المدير الفني”.
وأوضح: “الحديث عن أنني منعت محمود من الصعود إلى المنصة كلام باطل، ولو كان صعد لما حدثت أي مشكلة، لأن هذا حقه، وخلال الأشهر الماضية تم توقيع عقوبات ضد محمود أشرف بسبب سوء سلوك ارتكبه في إحدى مباريات الدوري، وكانت العقوبة إيقافًا لمباراتين، كما فُرضت غرامة مالية على زملائي بلغت 200 ألف جنيه”.
وأتم: “أنا أطالب أشرف صبحي، وزير الشباب والرياضة، بفتح تحقيق شامل في هذا الأمر، حتى تُعرف الحقيقة ويُحفظ حق الجميع”.

Nesta quinta-feira (20), o Palmeiras recebeu uma proposta pelo zagueiro Luan, que interessa ao Krasnodar-RUS. O Palmeiras fez mais uma investida para contar com o volante Aníbal Moreno, do Racing-ARG, mas novamente o clube argentino recusou os valores. A nova proposta foi de 7,5 milhões de dólares (R$ 36 milhões na cotação atual), mas ela ainda não convenceu a diretoria da agremiação argentina, que já avisou quanto quer para prosseguir na negociação: 10 milhões de dólares livres de impostos (R$ 48 milhões). After being out of the Champions League for over two years, the Blues were given a rough welcome back by Bayern Munich.
Enzo Maresca’s side found themselves down 2-0 within 27 minutes, and while Cole Palmer halved the deficit in the 29th minute, the Germans eventually ran out deserved 3-1 winners.
There were a couple of players who did themselves proud, but more who let the fans and manager down, including one starter who was even worse than Trevoh Chalobah.
Chalobah's disappointing display
Unlike some of his teammates, last night was not Chalobah’s first experience of the Champions League.
In fact, it was his tenth appearance in the competition, with his last being the quarter-final against Real Madrid in April 2022.
However, you’d never have guessed that, as instead of providing a calm presence behind his midfield, the Englishman was all over the place for much of the game.
Moreover, it was the 26-year-old who opened the scoring for the hosts when he poked home a cross from Michael Olise, a cross that Tosin Adarabioyo probably should have cleared.
The once-capped international’s statistics also made for some ugly reading, as in 96 minutes of action, he failed to make a single tackle, was dribbled past once, lost 50% of his ground duels, misplaced 50% of his long balls and won just 50% of his aerial duels.
It was enough for football.london’s Bobby Vincent to award him an 8/10 match rating at full-time, and describe his evening as something of a ‘nightmare.’
However, while Chalobah did score an own goal, one of his teammates was just as bad against Bayern, and therefore has to be dropped for the game against Manchester United on Saturday.

In 68 minutes of inaction, the 25-year-old amassed a paltry combined expected assist and goals figure of just 0.04, took just 25 touches – 22 fewer than Robert Sanchez – completed just 11 passes, played one key pass, misplaced 100% of his crosses, failed in 50% of his dribbles, lost the ball nine times and was dribbled past twice.
Ultimately, while Chalobah will get the criticism for scoring the own goal, Neto was just as bad, if not worse, last night.
