وتعرض الثنائي إبراهيما كوناتي وكونور برادلي لإصابة خلال الشوط الثاني أمام ريال مدريد، وسيحتاجان إلى تقييم من قبل الجهاز الطبي لليفربول قبل لقاء الأحد مع مانشستر سيتي.
وعندما سُئل عما إذا كان يعرف مدى الإصابات، قال سلوت في تصريحات نشرها موقع ليفربول الرسمي: “لا، ليس بعد، أعرف مكان الألم، لكن من الصعب الحكم على مدى سوء أو جودة ذلك بعد المباراة”.

وأفاد: “يحدث هذا خلال الموسم، أتمنى حقًا أن يكون كلاهما متاحين للعب، ولكن إذا لم يكن الأمر كذلك، فيجب على شخص آخر أن يتقدم، وحتى الآن، ظهر كل من اخترته للبدء في هذا الموسم”.

– É um conjunto de fatores. Um elenco com muita experiência internacional e nacional, além disso muitos atletas já estavam em boa forma física, atuando em outros estaduais. Mas o principal é que o nosso grupo está comprometido com os objetivos do clube.

With 777 Partners' takeover of Everton now in more doubt than ever, the Toffees have named their price to sanction the sale of one of Sean Dyche's star players this summer.

777 initially agreed a deal with Farhad Moshiri back in September, but have since faced a long wait to gain Premier League approval which may now never arrive – it could be quite the bullet dodged for those at Goodison Park too. The Miami-based firm recently saw Vasco de Gama, the Brazilian club in their portfolio, taken away from them by Brazilian courts, whilst their assets in Belgium have reportedly been seized amid problems in their ownership of Standard Liege.
Nonetheless, bullet dodged or not, Everton need a financial solution and that may have to come through the sale of key players this summer, as Dyche hinted at recently.
The Everton boss said via The Guardian: “If the [777] takeover doesn’t happen, or a takeover, then it will probably be juggling dust, not sand. Because who knows then? You are having to self-generate everything then, I would imagine, because it’s not like there is a pile of cash anywhere so you’ve got to self-generate. And if you self-generate, how do you get in what you are losing?
"If someone leaves, how do you get the next one in who is as good as the one leaving? There is no time for development [of young players] because this club hasn’t got time for that.”

One of the ways those funds could be raised is through the sale of Amadou Onana. According to Pete O'Rourke of Football Insider, Everton have now set a £50m price-tag on Onana this summer as they look to ease their financial concerns amid takeover doubts.
The deal itself would make the Toffees a £17m profit too, having initially bought Onana for a reported £33m back in 2022. Attracting the interest of both Bayern Munich and Newcastle United, the midfielder could now leave to help raise funds for Everton and clear his hefty reported salary of £100k-a-week.
Dyche could be left performing miracles once again
This season, it was point deductions. Next season, it could be a depleted squad. Either way, Dyche looks likely to be handed an impossible task once again at Goodison Park. It's worth noting that without those deductions, his side would be sitting comfortably in mid-table without so much as an eye on the relegation battle. Sucked into it due to off-pitch actions nonetheless, those on the pitch did well to secure Premier League safety.

If a takeover does not come the way of Everton in the coming months, then sales such as Onana's will be the only solution left for those at Goodison Park to attempt in a major blow for Dyche and the rest of his squad.

Many words have been used in rich descriptions of Roses matches over the years. “Funky” is not one of them. Perhaps, then, we should not have been surprised in the least when Keaton Jennings and Alex Davies went out to open Lancashire’s first innings just before one o’clock on the third day of this game. There had been some absurdly speculative thought that the visitors might seek to revive their chances of reaching the final of the Bob Willis Trophy by forfeiting their first innings, thereby challenging Yorkshire to set up a game on what is likely to be the last day on which cricket can be played in this game. As if. As ruddy if.Cricketers have little time for tactical gambles based on weather forecasts, however dire the latter may be. Having seen one of the most inexperienced bowling attacks in their history dismiss Yorkshire for 260, Lancashire were content to see if they could pick up the odd batting bonus point while entrusting their tissue-thin chances of finishing top of the North Group to their final game against the leaders, Derbyshire, in a couple of weeks’ time. The county’s old opener and legendary coach, Harry Makepeace, would be proud. This is a Roses match and it still counts for more than points. The importance of the contest had clearly been plain to Adam Lyth earlier in the day when he reached his fourth first-class hundred against Lancashire and his first in any format since September 2018.The significance of a contest which is virtually certain to be drawn was also made very plain in the afternoon and evening sessions of this game when the cricket was contested as though the title itself was at stake. Emerald Headingley looked beautiful in the late summer sunlight and Davies made the most of the best batting conditions of the game. Indeed he had hit six fours before Jennings managed his first and it was almost expected when the England batsman was leg before wicket for 23 when sweeping at a ball from Lyth.Jennings’ wicket was one of three claimed by Yorkshire bowlers for eight runs either side of tea. Josh Bohannon was taken down the leg side by Jonny Tattersall off Jared Warner for 5 and then Davies was leg before to Steve Patterson for 73 when aiming a vague heave on the leg side. Vilas and Jones regularly batted well together last season and the pair appeared set to see out the session. Had they done so, Lancashire might well have collected one of those bonus points they affected not to care about. Instead, the pair fell to successive balls, Vilas being leg before wicket to a delivery from Duanne Olivier which scuttled low into his pad and Jones caught by Tattersall off George Hill when edging a drive.That gave Hill his maiden first-class wicket and it thereby made this evening session even more memorable. Given that he had seen two slip catches put down by Lyth and Kohler-Cadmore earlier in the afternoon the 19-year-old might have been wondering whether a great moment in his career would arrive this season or next. Now he knows and the applause that greeted the achievement from players and coaches was very warm.The task of denying Yorkshire a second bowling point fell to Steven Croft and George Balderson and it was fascinating that they seemed to give it a higher priority than pushing on towards 200. Such a resolve may have seemed incomprehensible to anyone not raised on these games, especially so given that Lancashire ended the day just five runs shy of their first batting point. But both Balderson and Hill now know what a Roses match is all about because sweats like Lyth and Croft have shown them.

According to reports relayed by Yorkshire Post, Wolves are one of four top-flight teams set to make bids for Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah, with Fulham – who would be willing to pay £30m for the centre-forward – Wolves and Crystal Palace also in the mix.
Arsenal are fighting to secure the signature of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko in a £55m deal, which would surely see the Englishman's intermittent opportunities limited further.

Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the 25-year-old but will reluctantly let him leave, and with O'Neil searching for firepower up front, this might just be the perfect move to make, though Wolves would need to match Fulham's prospective offer.

Once described as a "monster" by journalist Aaron Catterson-Reid, Nketiah has completed 168 appearances, scoring 38 goals, for Arsenal after graduating from the youth academy, enjoying a successful but fleeting loan spell with Leeds United and even earning his first international cap for England.
This season, however, despite netting a brilliant hat-trick against Sheffield United in October in the Premier League, the 5 foot 9 striker was restricted to just six substitute displays onward from February, clearly not included at the heart of Arteta's ambitious plans.
Nketiah had also netted in two of Arsenal's opening three top-flight fixtures but as Kai Havertz went from strength to strength so too did the Nketiah's match action suffer diminishment. With Sesko fiercely pursued and Gabriel Jesus vying for a place at No. 9, Wolves' target is clearly heading toward the exit in north London.
But Wolves want his signature for a reason. As per FBref, Nketiah ranks among the top 9% of forwards across Europe's top five leagues over the past year for touches in the attacking penalty area per 90 and the top 12% for pass completion, highlighting his strength as a frontal focal point and his ball-playing skill.
The £100k-per-week star is blessed with natural athletic prowess and all the tools to succeed as the leading man at a Premier League team, and while Wolves have been widely reported to be closing in on a move for Southampton's Che Adams, who is out of contract at St. Mary's this month, signing a player of Nketiah's ilk would be a major win.
Nketiah could lead the line for years to come at Molineux, providing O'Neil with a reliable goal threat to avoid the dreaded drop zone and instead tear through the division and toward the upper end.
Why Wolves are interested in Eddie Nketiah
There's perhaps a tacit outward air at Molineux that suggests Neto is going to leave this summer. The Portugal winger still has three years on his current deal but £60m is no small sum and sharp strategic transfer moves could make such an influx of cash worthwhile.
But of course, Nketiah is not a winger, and thus would not be a direct replacement for Neto, should he leave. Instead, the Gunners ace could find himself taking Matheus Cunha's role in the Old Gold first team, with the Brazilian attracting attention after his resounding 2023/24 campaign.
As per The Mirror, Manchester United are hot on the £60m-rated Cunha's trail and are even prepared to double his £60k-per-week salary. It's early days but if Sir Jim Ratcliffe's nosing-around turns into concrete interest, it might be hard for Wolves to turn the lucrative suitor away.
And there is no point denying that it would feel like a detrimental blow. Cunha has been positively magnificent this season, raising his game considerably and now ranking among the top 10% of forwards across Europe's top five leagues over the past year for pass completion, the top 12% for progressive passes, the top 5% for progressive carries, the top 3% for successful take-ons and the top 14% for tackles per 90.

He's been pretty good, and while there are myriad benefits to partnering Nketiah with the Brazilian, O'Neil's transfer target is technically proficient and is mutable in his playing style, capable of adopting a dynamic role that, yes, focusses on his goalscoring but also incorporates creativity and enhances team synergy.
Praised for his "incredible impact" and as a "beast" by his Arsenal manager, Nketiah is of course aware of his bit-part place in the Emirates machine, and given that he is now entering the prime of his career, surely he should prioritise playing time. His hat-trick this season emphasises the importance of finding a place to properly showcase his skills.
