Wolves fans are delighted as Jesus Vallejo arrives from Real Madrid

On Saturday, Wolverhampton Wanderers revealed that they had completed the signing of Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old, who has become Wolves’ first signing of this summer’s transfer window, will spend the 2019-20 campaign with the Premier League club.

And it would be fair to say that the club’s fans are absolutely delighted to have secured a player of Vallejo’s ilk.

The centre-back started his professional career with Real Zaragoza before joining Real Madrid in July 2015, penning a six-year contract at the Bernabeu.

The former Spain Under-21 international has made 19 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, including seven during the 2018-19 season.

Vallejo has now earned a switch to the Premier League, though, and will be looking to help Wolves build on what was a very impressive campaign last term.
